AOM - Rare Flat Four Mercury

This Mercury is a very rare vertical flat four cylinder. The cylinders are facing front and back and are opposed.

You can see where the carburator should mount on the side of the motor. The engine is shown with the lower cowling off as well.

This motor appeared in the mid 50's. The picture on the right gives you a perspective of size in relation to the other motors.
