| I could not have picked a nicer day for a ride up the St. Johns river in Deland, Florida. Yes, that is a 1956 Scott-Atwater 16 hp Bail-o-matic outboard on stern. This freshly restored "Green Hornet" pushed my 16 foot Jon Boat at a throttle gripping 41 mph. |

The complete restoration required two months of labor. I believe this to be the nicest running 1956 Scott-Atwater. There are some tricky points in the restoration of this outboard that can make it very difficult to complete. |
